well, that just shows how much our planet is changing. Im waiting for the day when California state gets sunk or get seperated into and island by an earthquake, and the hurricanes/ tornadoes are all just facts that lets us know that "mother nature" is a bish.

It was a 7.6. While that's powerful, the quake wasn't super strong. The deaths resulted not from the quake but from overpopulation/density and poor infrastructure.
It's just sad.

It's crazy the situation.

You know, I wonder if they will let Israeli Zaka go in (disaster victim identification). These are the experts who go in after a terror attack and rescue trapped people as well as forensics experts who can match body parts to their owners. They flew in to Louisiana after Katrina, they were in NY after 9/11, and even helped with the columbia shuttle, but I think last time with the tsunami they weren't allowed in. I think they helped in thailand but were prohibited from helping in sri lanka.

Considering the 'interesting' relations Israel has with Pakistan we'll see.

true, sad but true....

it would be better for the Zaka team to refrain...you know how much the terrorists love them.

You are going to be waiting a long time. The area west of the San Andreas Fault is moving north at only 1/4in per year.

Until a 9.0 moves it another 100 feet or more. It's just a matter of time...

Yeah, but 100 feet is nothing and a 9.0 happens less than once every 100 years.
