It doesn't matter though, movies nowadays can make Gary Coleman be a perfect actor for a movie on Shaquille O'Neal.

This is going to be interesting. I really like Topher in that 70's show and the two movies hes been in, but its going to be interesting to see him not play a nerdy, skinny guy, but try to be an evil villain. Now we got two skinny loserish guys in this movie. Im sure his acting will be good none the less.

From what I remember of my childhood, I viewed the Venom character as a sort of evil version of Spiderman.

Casting another skinny Toby-like nerd might be a great thing. We'll see.

Ive never read the spiderman comics, but I dont think any scenes call for boob shots. It is a comic based movie, not an american action flick....

Marvel has departed from the comic book backgrounds in most of their movies. I doubt we'll see Spidey in the black suit.

Too bad that black suit was bad ass....

Topher Grace as Venom just doesn't seem to fit.. guess the teen beat female market is more important than trying to stay close to the orig story base

Maybe they'll get over the live action cartoon movie faze one of these years and make a nice dark movie out of Spiderman, just like Batman Begins.

Ok anyway, actually in my opinion i thin its cool when the take a scrawny guy like Topher Grace and buly him up. Remeber in the begining of the first Spiderman they did it to Toby. Looking at the comic i think Topher has the face for him, but he does need a series hardcore hollywood instant bulk me up workout program! But i totally think the movie will kick ass. The Spiderman movie franchise is one of the best Marvel comic take offs. X men would be next. But just wait till X-3 comes out and we shall see!
