I participated in a shark fishing tournament this weekend off the coast of Montauk. It was pretty cool, we did some inland fishing before setting of on the 20 miles journey into the ocean. While inand fishing I caught a 40" (approx.) Stripe Bass. Then we caught to Macos, lost 3 blue sharks and 1 mahi mahi. It was a pretty eventful day considering that most people don't catch anything. So you get to keep 1 shark for the tournament, we kept a 145 maco, which would up winning second place in the maco division. 145 is not that big considering that the same boat 3 days prior pulled in a 478 lb maco. But it was fun anyway.
