Anytime you want to find out you can take the hour trip to come meet me here on LI.

Take the Outerbridge Crossing to the Staten Island Expressway. Take that to the Verizano and onto the Belt Pkwy East. Take the Belt to Exit 23 or 24 I forget, but it is Southern State ParkwayEast, to Exit 39, Deer Park Ave North. Take that to Grand Blvd. Let me know when you get there I'll meet you on the corner and you can find out who is insulting you over what ever the hell he feels like.
Just give me your #, and I'll call you before I get there. How the hell else am I supposed to let you know? What's the zip btw, so I can mapquest it.

PM me with it.

In this contest Hal would eat you, your children, a goat, 3 Big Macs with Super sized fries, a bus seat, some broken glass and a vat of toxic waste. Then he'd casually walk across the street and order breakfast at the diner. I've seen it and it ain't a pretty sight.

But seriously dude, take a fucking valium or something. Do you get raged out over everything in life? If some e-thug on the interweb gets you this bent out of shape how do you deal with real problems?

11729 is the zip, just give me a date and time and I will be there. I am not giving my phone number for obvious reasons.

I hope you like hospital food.

Obviously the CEL was getting triggered for a reason.. if they disabled it that's of course not fixing the problem.. How miles do you have on it? thinking of warranty..
I asked to talk to someone else, I asked to speak with her boss, etc. She told me there is no one else.

I have not taken it to another dealer. She did say I have the right to get a second opinion from another dealership at my own expense. I did however call another dealer and told them my problem and asked them if they thought this was normal or if I should bring it in. They said who told me that it might be normal, and before I could think, Nissan came out of my mouth. So he said , Then it is normal. So I fucked that one up.

The CPU upgrade is one of the suggested fixes from nissan for this code. The other is replceing the cat.

Hey if anyone wants to question her on this Her name is Sherry, her ext. is 3796. She is the NY Regional Rep. My case# is 5020067.

Kinda of working that out now. What I want and what I get might be two different stories. The problem is, I am going to buy two new cars at the same time. I need to replace my wife's car also, she has been driving a 2000 hyundai elentra with 110,000 miles on it.

So I can't really go crazy and get a car that I want (STI) so I have to buy two fairly inexpensive cars. So I was thinking of two Mazda 3's, one 4 door and one 5 door. I am thinking I can get a really good deal if I buy two cars at the same time.

I remember when it was hyundai or Kia was doing that buy one get one free deal. And when my parents went in to a Ford dealership they bought 2 new vehicles at the same time, a 2001 F-250 and my Eclipse, so they cut them a real good deal. My car jumped from 9g's to $6,500 plus tax, licensing etc etc.
Try taking your car into a few certified shop that is not affiliated and get their opinions and voice that to Nissan, and see if they can make up any excuses about that, such as "oh, they dont know what they are talking about."

and Hal, dont hurt him too much.....just dont eat before he shows up. Theres nothing more intimidating than a Hungry Hungry Hal...

What if you used Mobil1 5,000 or higher oil. Every oil change, you'd be at -1quart.

Have Nissan Change your oil, hand them 4 quarts of Mobil1 5,000mi oil, and then bring it back when all the oil is gone and tell them that it's their fault.

STI would be perfect if I was going to buy just one car. But I will probably buy two so anything over 30G's it out of the question.

nissan builds a great car but i wont be buying another due to how much of a help they are. as a general rule, they suck in terms of service. it is like dell. while they make an excellent product, small problems become big ones because they refuse to help. and getting jerked around only makes one angrier. i wish you luck hal because after reading a few spec v horror stories, you are going to need it.
