Hey Wes, should I expect a fully built bottom end with some serious boost levels for that little motor? Maybe a T3 family turbo? I wonder how the GA tranny will hold up to some abuse unlike the Sr20 trannies. Gotta put it down for the GA boys.

Does it seem like the crown brake lines are too long? I have a set and the first set actually rubbed my axle and it got a hole in it. I have just slotted rotors on stock calipers, maybe the brake lines hook up in a different position on the nx brake upgrade. How do the nx brakes hold up to all that power youre making?

Right... You can always send Sarah general questions... please try to keep the topic on this thread about the project car... general questions should be in the other automotive areas of the forum.

Crown lines are fine on my car, I adjusted them with the platic holders and they are just fine. The NX2000 brakes are holding up OK thanks to the Carbotech Panther+ pads. Granted a brake upgrade is in order with this becoming a more dedicated track car.

As someone mentioned earlier... wes, are you planning to do any work on that transmission or have you done work to it already? since the motor obviously is pushing more horses through the drivetrain than it did in its stock form; i would assume this is causing more wear and tear on the tranny itself.. reducing its life expectancy? especially if your cars becoming more of a "dedicated track car."

We have some parts for the tranny that will be going in in a future issue of NPM. So far the car has a JWT clutch and red-line fluid and has been rouble free so far. Just like Mike's car we are pretty impressed with how the entire car is handeling the power it is making!

I have been running between 11 (BC off WG setting) and 14 PSI on this setup. We have some things we want to do before we turn it up any further.

Since this is going to be mainly a track car, are you going to change the GC Coilovers for a set of Racing coilovers?! Tein's? Others? Or are you fine with the GCs?

For right now the GC/AGX setup will remain, however it will be upgraded once some other items are addressed.

Way to go Wes, I'm happy to see that you will be a featured vehicle and we will really get to see what the GA is really able to produce. Congrats on your achievements so far and looking to further commentary. Just to let you know, I dropped off a GA to my machine shop and we are hoping to get as close as possible to 300hp using a T4. I wish I had known earlier how much this cost to do. Good grief! I understand now what you went through. Anyway, again congrats and looking forward to more NPM issues/articles.

A T04, I presume is way too big for a GA16 unless you want boost at an RPM where you don't have much of a range before the fuel cut. I suggest you read the turbo sizing articles in NPM where you can determine what size turbo to use for your needs in the line of what wll really work.

You can get 400 whp using much smaller turbos than that. Or are you the guy whose Hp and Torque doesnt meet at 5250rpm?
