they do not wear per se. Springs are more likely to fatigue over time. Honestly man if you think yoru going to find a part in the tranny that doesn't need to be replaced "over the years", if you think that's not normal your living in a dream world.

Well I was thinking more on the line as metal pads like brake pads but they both do different things so I wasn't thinking clearly...

WELL, the positive! I know what my car would look like with the gold wheels.

The negative.....now I'm not going to powdercoat or paint the wheels gold!

Right, I agree. They are purely for function, I am not a huge fan of the gold. But hey they work!

18 LBS. I believe we lightened the stock flywheel to about 11 lbs.
