Yes, I own the engine that was in Ben B's last drag car setup. I think it was 485 @ 15 lbs.

I appreciate all your help on this.

I'm not putting words into your mouth. The guy was asking about the manifold I had on my project. Then you troll your way into the thread saying "want an equal length manifold that is a proven design? not just a jig..." I see you can type words but none of them make sence.
Sence. Good word. What sense does that make?

Also, how do you figure I was trolling? Just thought I'd share information about a company that supports the SR20 community. No need to get offensive man.

This thread is about Aaron's project SE-R Turbo... not about Protech or Hotshot or any other company that may "support" the community.. The project doesn't have a Protech manifold, so even bringing it up is off topic.

There is no way a VE can come close to touching a turbo car in power output, not even a stock DET.

The SR20VET cams are not much of an advantage, its better to just readjust the lobe centers of a stock VE if you are trying to turbo it but the grammer of this post doesnt make sence.

not just a jig, a full, guaranteed not to crack equal length manifold.

ask about protech's quality over on sr20forum.com
The Protech is a nice manifold but its still a very trick street mainfold. A race car like whats being built here needs a different manifold, Protech could build one though.

The manifold Aaron has is proven as well, it made 640 whp at 23 psi, the most of any SR20 built in this country to my knowlege.

Hey Aaron,
Could you post your dyno chart? Your turbo is the 52 trim GT3037 with the .73 A/R right? I'm considering alot of turbos and a 3037 is one of them and I have not been able to find a good dyno chart to look at. Thanks

Yep that's what I have. The dyno here shows runs at 12, 14 and 18 psi. This is before we did any tuning on the kit with the 72lb injector program. With the tuning now complete and future plans for a better intake setup 400 whp should be pretty easy at 20 psi.

What I like about the GT3037 is that it keeps pulling to 7K RPM. For the size of the turbo the power delivery is extremely linear.

Aaron, I cannot thank you enough. When JWT and you get this program fine tuned, I will be all set. This pretty much is the same setup I'm going to go with. Couple things I'll be different is with the exhaust manifold, intake manifold, and I don't know which cams you have, but S4's are planned. Thanks again, Aaron...good luck with the gremlins.
Please keep us up to date when you get the car on the road again.

Mike, are you referring to my car or Aarons car? I was going to talk with Protech as well about one of their equal length manifolds also. Currently I am trying to locate the manifold that Ben B originally had on the motor to begin with. I didn'y realize that Jhame was no longer with FMAX/Turbonetics.... I thought he got bought by Turbonetics but was working for them I guess.

I *think* my turbo is rated to top out around 500-525 hp. I won't see those numbers on a stock bottom end. Kojima would have to give you the limits my manifold.

The 640whp pull was on the motor you have with the manifold f-max built for Ben's car. The both manifolds are pretty similar in design but because Ben's car was full race the engine compartment was a little less cramped than mine.

When I talked to the Turbonetics reps at SEMA last November Jhame still worked for them.

You have the contact info for my manifold.
