Do you think you could beat a wrx now what about before the last upgrades my freind is going to buy a 2004 wrx and I woul like to beat him with my little 1.6 what do you think nice job keep up the good work

Depends on which model... the WRX is rated at 227hp and the WRX STi is rated at 300hp... remember manufacturer numbers are measured at the crank, not at the wheels... hence the above discussion on drivetrain loss.. it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer... some tend to "push" the truth a bit.. do the math.. haha...we could whip up on the WRX and we wouldn't get embarrassed by the STi.... of course unless they were modified...


The WRX is a monster of a car, but not really a good comparision to the Sentra/200sx... the low end WRX is like 24k+ the STi is like 30k+


just put it this way...there aren't too many cars out there that would embarrass us now,,

I know you cant really compare the two but he talks about all the money Ive dropped in my sentra and it still will be around the wrx price thats why i asked Its just the regular wrx cant wait until next month to see all the new info

I gotta say, 233whp for a GA is very impressive. It would take a lot for someone else to duplicate that.

As for the WRX, lets not forget that its an AWD system. There is more loss from the crank to the wheels.
