You mean to tell me that you guys have NEVER seen an article in any piece of journalism that didn't fit the bill. On a serious note....why doesn't someone write an article DEFENDING the "ricer" point of view. I know SOMEONE likes the Chevy Corsica with the racing stripes and large wing on the back. Every has their own tastes, that's why I think he wrote the article.
Since I have a wife that would probably cut my left nut off if I put something TOO gaudy in her eyes on the car, I can't say that my car is to "Ricey"(whatever that is). Someone SHOULD write a rebuttle article.

See that's the thing. I really don't CARE what everyone else thinks. I LIKE IT, and that's all that matters. However, I can see what you mean. I just don't really care what people think about my car.
I didn't say that I liked the rice bashers. I was just saying that I am defending his article. It's JOURNALISM. That's all I'm really defending. Not his attitude towards ricers. I never bashed anyone for what they have done to their car.

i wasnt aware someone had already bitched about it. i dont read NPM on a constant basis, and i dont check this part of the forum out. besides im dealing with specific parts of the article, not the whole thing! and "we" dont have to have any bitch sessions, if u dont want to be part of a thread, or have nothing useful to say, then dont post

well, i have read other stuff on NPM....it was pretty informative information (turbo GA), but like i said....i really dont check this part of the forum out..that specific article just seemed bad. While i have not started a thread about the GA16DET, i have posted my thoughts(all positive and supportive) in other threads regarding the issue

People give their free time to create NPM, all on a volunteer basis,,,,yes no one gets paid,,,we all have real jobs...
if you don't like something then that's cool... 1 or 2 posts would be cool to comment...but damn let it go... you don't like it....we got it... but since you have never written any positive feedback on other articles that may have helped you, then how much of this feedback do you think will be taken as useful?

all i gotta say is that nissan owners now a days arent the same......this is why theres much conflicted.....but AJ has some good points.....why is it now.....most nissan owners who werent even before for nissan or cars try to talk so much about others cars yet they havent done anything to there car except for some simple light pep boys stuff???? anyhow just my opinion.....i tell ya been a fan of nissan since about 96/97 and im seening how this era has changed

It doesn't matter if I liked the article or not...
We've told people time and time again that NPM is an open source for the community.. If its well written then we will consider it for publication.
That still stands...
It's free... no one is forcing you to read it.. make your own magazine if you want or don't like it... Just let it go already....
