I will be 1st in line to subscribe for NPM, money in hand. I cant wait till the day when I can crack open the fresh seal of a Monthly edition of NPM.
What do they need, or what is holding them up from printing? Anybody know?
haha... what is holding them back is that all of NPMs readership is already here...
but seriously... these guys are hardcore greasemonkeys, doing stuff we'd all like to do... i think they could seriously benefit from the extra exposure and money a print version of the mag could generate, but a print run of the magazine means a lot of extra headaches, and a lot of space to fill with content...
they've already said that we should be a little patient with the online mag because they seriously don't have enough time to make it longer... what would happen if they had to make a 100++ page mag every month?
right now, they're a small op... but print means more editors, lay-out artists, photographers... etc. etc. etc... plus the headaches of printing itself... (i run a press, so i know...).
NPM in print and in-your-face to the rest of the mod community would be lovely, but it would take some support from Nissan at least, to take off!

Actually No, pick up your averge import rag..SCC, Turbo Super Street....now seriously count the articles... Print mags are about 70% ads and 30% content... We have normally had on average 4 to 5 Project articles, couple features, new products, racing..etcc.. I bet if you count the average word number to legit articles and compare it you'll see that NPM has more content then those named print mags...
The key to NPM going to print is money... Everyone that works on NPM does it on a strictly voluntary basis.
If you'd like to contribute to a fund or a subscription membership we could probably go print... we've discussed a membership type drive... it may be the only way not only for print, but to survive period..
Believe me everyone that works to produce NPM each month appreciates the positive comments and it keeps us going... There has been times in the past when we would question weather anyone was reading this stuff...lol... Speaking for all the contributors to NPM I'd liek to thank everyone for their support and kind words...
true about the print rags... i think you seriously DO have more articles than most print tuners, but webhosting fees will always bite you enough to make them short. ...NPM seems to be the best tuner mag that has never seen print!
tell us where to send it, and we will...
