bugeye headlights

i have a 91 gts r32 coupe, it has the bugeye headlights and im was happy to find otu the bulbs can be replaced (since one of mine has stopped working)

does anyone know how to replace the bulb though? do I remove the front cover which has a rubber seal around and and is held on by a couple of metal clips or do i go in via the back way? do i need to remove the whole headlight unit first i am hoping to be able to change the bulb without removing it because otherwise i will have to recalibrate the angle.

Thanks!

Flamer.

first where are you located...

second... you dont need to remove the glass from the lights... or remove the headlight assembly from the car, you an simply change the bulb by removing from the back of the housing...

now if you cant get to the light due to other stuff being in the way you can remove the assembly to change the bulb and this will NOT have any affect on the angle of the beam...

the beam adjustment bolts wont be affected because they are not what hold the assembly to the car... in fact you can adjust the beams on the headlights while the assembly is still installed...

hope this helps
