GTR Tranny

ok, this i just a random ?, the AWD tranny on the mitsu VR4's. can be used with just the fwd setup when the transfer case is blocked off, i was wondering if there was a way to block off the transfer case on the GTR trannys to be used as just RWD?? thanks.

hicas lock-out bars dont make the car a RWD vehicle... they lock the HICAS which is AWS, and people lock them out so they get a car that has a more predictable feel.

if you want to have a RWD only RB26 then you will need to get the Tranny out of an RB25...

im not entirely sure, but i know some people with the GTS-4 have set-up a switch to turn on/off the FWD fuse. it stands to reason you could do the same with a GTR since both the GTS-4 and the GTR are practically the same, only real difference is the engine and tranny...
