boost ?

ok well i have greddy cat back, an hks intake and a front mount intercooler. no engine mods yet. there is a manual boost controller in the engine. i have a boost guage and would like to know what is safe. i have an r33 skyline with the rb25det. what do you all think

9psi? or .9bar? as its the gtst engine you can go up to 1bar but you would need to get your fueling checked to make sure it was all correct.

Get rid of the manual boost controller they are unreliable and not safe. Get an elctronic controller, trust, hks, blitz etc etc

9psi. i dont know bar. my guage reads psi too. what is 1 bar to psi. thanks

Correct me if I am wrong, but 9 psi is equal to .612 bar. In other words, you can take it up to 14.5 psi like my mentor said (that's 1 bar for the record).

thanks. see i keep on hearing that i should only run .8 to .85bar. im on stock internals and only a catback, intake and frontmount

Just do what was mentioned by skyline imports and you should be fine.

If u run 14psi + the turbos are prone to fail, 14psi would be the absolute max on factory ceramic turbo.
As skylineimports said, u DEFINATELY wanna get your fuelling checked out though if u do run that much (and get an EBC ).
