Skyline R32 Gts-t/4

I really want to buy a skyline, I have been in love with them since I first saw them. I almost bought a Gts-t, but I really want to know what the Gts-4 is capable of. I want an all wheel drive for the winter, but should it matter so much what with the all wheel drive or not?

Any information about the Gts-4 from someone who has one would be nice, Thanks

As you are probably aware the R32 GT4 has the same RB20DET engine as the GTS-t

Only difference is that it has the Active 4WD system. If you live in a colder climate and get alot of snow this would be a much better option the the RWD GTS-T.

The R32 GTS-T and GT4 make for nice cruisers but dont ever expect to get big power from the 2ltr engine

Thanks, there is definitely a bit of snow in the winter here. Have you heard of any somewhat powerful Gts-4's? I was looking at one that had the RB26 in it, this is the engine that has big potential right? Ive heard that they can put out over 1000 horsepower, but this must be a bit of an anomoly, and very expensive.

Yes you can go big power with an RB26DETT motor, on stock turbo and head gasket you can go to about 300bhp on the rb20det.

If your budget allowed i would go for an RB25DET swap and straight forward swap and potential for bigger power is there.

Engine should be around $1500 - $2500 and then you have fitting etc. I would have said more like $5000 - $6000 total.
