Hi New Here Need Help

Hey everybody

New here & wanted to say hi & ask a ?

I just got a 1997 Nissan Pickup kingcab XE, 5sp., 4WD

& its got a computer problem, which affects emissions.

Code comes up PO605. My mechanic tells me that this means the internal ECM is full & the truck needs a new computer.

Is this right? Any help would be greatly appreciated
