1987 Nissan Pulsar NX SE

I just purchased a 1987 Nissan Pulsar NX SE. The CA16DE engine that is in it is either going to have to be replaced or rebuild. I was reading thru the forums to see if anyone has done or is it possible to install a CA18DET in this car. It is a project car and I am willing to spend a fair amount of money on it as long as it's worth it in the end. It will end up being a daily driver at some point.

Pulsar guys would know better, but I know the CA18DET came with an AWD transmission. I think you would need the CA16 transmission...
