noob with a question about the classifieds

Hey NF folks, I'm not new to reading the site but haven't posted all that much over time and have never bought anything from the classifieds sections before.

A couple days ago, I posted some questions to the classifieds regarding a couple people selling SE-R wheels. None of them have replied. Now I realize it's a holiday weekend and all, but I was just wondering - should I presume these items are all just sold and I'm being ignored?

I'm much more familiar with ebay and perhaps that's just a very different culture, where you see reponses in hours and after a few days, something's sold or just gone. Do people remove posts from the classifieds here when they're sold or just leave them there?
