Make your post a little more than "Hi, I'm new."

Tell us a little about yourself, your car, how you found the site, what your favorite color is, anything really. It makes things more interesting, and who knows, maybe you'll find a quick friend? Like this guy

Example:

Hello all. I'm Mark from Georgia. I drive an 02 Silver Altima which I tried mercilessly to beat into the ground, and now realizing that I need this car longer than 3 years. I am a member of teh Mofo and I love football.

I'm looking to turbocharge, supercharge, and install a NO2 system in my 4cyl QR25. As of now, I have an intake, header, exhaust, pulley, and fuzzy dice.

Also, when making a new thread in the proper section regarding an issue you are having with your car, title it appropriately.

Titles such as "NEED HELP" do not get the point across. Label them according to the problem, i.e; "91 240sx power steering pump", a thread titled this way will give users a heads up of what the thread consists of.
