Question Sr20DE

I like speed but dont have the money for cool parts n stuff ....kinda low on cash so i was wondering if any of you have a sr20de engine....Do you kno any small adjustmentd that can help me get a little faster

Do a tune-up:
- Set the timing to 17*. This is within factory spec. (Search the SR20DE Section for instructions)
- Check the park plugs to see if they are worn/dirty. If so, replace.
- Check the air filter to see if it is dirty. If so, replace.
- If you don't know how old the fuel filter is, replace it.
- Pull the distributor cap, and check the inside to see if there are tracks between the elecrodes, and whether the electrodes are very corroded. If so replace.
- At night with the engine running, look under the hood to see if the spark plug wires are arcing. If so replace with factory originals.

This should get you some more power.
