hey wassup hows it going, i just bought a brand new 04 spec v (white). i just wanted to see what yall thought about me racing a ford contour svt, he has challenged me a couple of times, so i said that i would. also alittle ways down the road me, another white spec v, a 92 se-r, and this contour are going to race! what do yall think about this?

well i was just wanting to know if yall thought it was a good race? so nobody around this website drags at all? ok thats kool! well thanx for responding!

It should probably be a good race. I'm sure plenty of people drag/street race on here, street racing is just not allowed to be discussed on here that's all. You can talk about racing at the track all you want though.

Biggest question for any race - what is your purpose? Are you out to prove you are the best driver? or have the best car (mods)?

If you must race, choose the type of race that suits your purpose. If showing the car, dragging at a track works. If showing the driver, head for solo events.

Why do you really want to accept the challenge anyways? The only true challenge is yourself. To take an example to extremes --- You maybe able to walk faster then a child, but is it really cause to celebrate?

you make a very good point here, but it is not a race for money or pink slips or anything of that nature it is just a race between friends to have fun and to see who has the best car!
it isnt even the car mods that matters in this race it is mainly the best racer that matters, because he actually has about 50 more horsepower then me but i have about 50lbs foot of torque more then him.
so to answer your question it is not cause to celebrate if you can walk faster then a child but it is fun!!
and since i love challenges to me this is a great one to venture.
