zero gravity module

Does anyone have any experience with a Zero Gravity performance module? supposed to give horsepower gains like a chip? They sell em on E-bay... wondering if they work or what the deal is with those things.

Whenever you see the word "Performance Module" think Scam

True chips are like $300+ and you send the whole ECU in to have them do it.

any "chips" or "modules" you see on ebay are a SCAM. Whatever they are charging, i guarantee they will send you nothing more than a 5-cent Radioshack resistor.

There was a "chip" on ebay that was supposed to increase timing. It was a 2kohm resistor that you plug into your temp sensor. The goal is to trick the ECU into thinking the incoming air was around 40*F and would cause the ECU to lean out the fuel mixture and advance the timing. Although these 2 things will tend to create a better explosion, if the air outside happens to be 80-100*, you're now in danger of ruining your engine due to detonation.

Long story sort, it is a scam, the person selling it is making a 30,000% profit b/c it's no more than a cheap electronic component you could've bought at Radioshack for pocket change.

There are only 3 REAL ECU upgrades:
--1. Jim Wolf Tech, programs ECUs for almost any application. it will be programmed to remove the speed limiter, raise the redline, optimize the fuel mapping, optimize timing, and can be programmed for turbo applications, nitrous applications, particular injector sizes, cams, cam gears, and so on.
--2. A company based in Australlia, which I've been told by the Austrailian members is pretty good (I don't think this company will help you if you're in the US)
--3. JET chip (THey make Nissan applications, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to do crap on Nissans. It's supposedly good on Domestics).
