From the tire or the tire area? Sounds like a fuxored CV joint. Relatively cheap fix, so don't let it leave you stranded on the highway.

yeah i think it may be your cv boot/axle... where in NY are you? it was 300 bucks for 2 of them for me, so it'll prolly be around 150 bucks, its simple to do yourself tho, it would be like 60 bucks to do yourself...

the plot thickens. I have replaced my front wheel bearings, all four tires. the noise started after the tires were replaced. I have replaced the left cv shaft and ball joint. Noise is still there. gets faster or slower with movement of the car. have had it checked for motor mount, anything loose, rubbing, nothing found. It is like cards in the spokes of a kids bike. thats the only way i can describe it.

Clicking Noise - Wheel Covers?

My wife's Altima had the symptoms you describe. It turned out to be her wheel covers. If you have wheel covers, try removing them. If the noise goes away, that's it.
