Unhappy no brake light when tail light is on

Dear member of this forum,


I got a 94 nissan pathfinder SE and i have problems with my brake light , it seem that with the tail light off all the brake light working OK, at night when you turn the head light on and the tail light are on, the brake light stop working, also both of the tail light are very bright, i need help from member to fix this problem without costing me alot, thank in advance

You might have burnt bulbs. The brake lights have 2 filaments. A "high" and a "low" take out the bulb, you can see if one of the filaments is burnt out and broken.

I'd also check the connections.

I checked them already, they're good, this is happen on both tail light.

SeV6, sometimes the bulb wont work even if the filaments remain intact. Try putting on some new bulbs.
