broken panel that shift boot is attached to

hey. in my 1991 sentra se-r the tabs hat attach the shift boot to the center panel have snapped off. do any of you have any suggestions of how to remedy this? either by making one myself or of an aftermarket one.

secondly. what would you suggest for replacing the headliner board in a sentra? mine is beyond repair as the cardboard has become a nasty mess where the layers have been seperating... id rather not have to put that back into my car but have been unsuccessful at finding one to purchase.. i have thought about making one myself but at this point would rather purchase one rather than tackle the curves since i do not have access to a garage and the rainy season makes that type of project a bit difficult.

thanks for any suggestions

Welcome to the Board El Fragmento!

The best bet is to go to a dealer as the one above me mentioned

For a cheaper but not that clean solution:

Try looking for spare pieces of those from other same model Sentras at the local scrap/junk yard...

There are lots of treasures waiting to be found there.

Good Luck in your search!
