Problem with marker and dash lights

The other day, i tried replacing my stock windshield pissers with the ones with the LED lights. I tried to wire the pissers to the marker lights like the directions say. I abandoned the who thing when I couldnt get them to work. When I went to move the car, I noticed the marker lights were out and the dash lights were out. I checked the fuses, they are all good, but maybe Im missing something. I have a 98 Sentra GXE, which I have learned has a bad electrical system. Anyone know how I can get the lights back on, and maybe how to install the pissers effectivly?

Ive now checked all wires and leads comming off the marker lights and followed them, they are intact and nothing is crossed. Im figuring the solution to this is simple, but something wierd.
