Suggestions for paint chips on hood???

I've got a black 2K I30 I just bought. There are some chips on the hood where wax gets caught/stuck, and the wax really shows up when it dries. Even if I try to get it out of the chips in the paint, there are just too many and the effort is very tedious. Is there a better way of getting rid of the wax, or covering up the chips etc?

I use a "wax" stick that comes with my polish to cover up the paint nicks, but if you wash it and don't rewax, the stuff comes off and you have to start all over. It is tedious, but if it gets me by until I can get a new paint job, I suppose that's how it is...good luck...
