vg30

this is probabley an obvious question, but correct me if i'm wrong. the vg30De heads, will transfer to the vg30 block correct? yes, i realize that the intake manifold and what not will need to be changed as well, but the heads should bolt right on.

sohc to dohc

yes, thats it exactly. i was told by a nissan tech that its possible on the ka24, so i dont see why there would be a problem on the vg30. i dont think nissan changed the block, did they? so, i figure heads off like the early 90's 300 n/a should function fine. again, including all the other parts transferred. (intake, timing belt, injection pieces, etc...)

Capitalking,
Even if you manage to swap the heads, you should know that with those heads on it, the engine will no longer fit between the wheelwells of your 87 200SX. This and other 200SX SE V6 engine swaps have been discussed pretty extensively on the Forum at Club S12 .
