Basic Timing

I have a 90 Sentra GA16i and want to check the timing. I have a Chilton manual but it does not read specificly about adjusting the GA16i. Can you help adjust my timing? I know I have to disconnect something. Thanks!

I think it's the same way as the sr20, but you have to warm up the car to normal operating temp. and pull the TPS off and rev the car past 3,000 rpm and the timing should go into timing mode so you can set it.
