I'm in the market for some new wheels and am leaning strongly towards a new ('04) 350z. Right now i have a highly modified 2G DSM ('98 Talon TSi AWD) and will trade the AWD for RWD but could never give up the forced induction. While adding a turbo to a naturally aspirated engine is often more work then it's worth, i'd be content with a low PSI supercharger.
I've looked around and found some interesting information on a ProCharger SC. It uses an intercooler and has it's own oil reservoir!
Sooo... not knowing a lot about the vq35de specifics i'm hoping there are some knowledgeable people that would like to exchange some ideas... like;
1. How much overlap is there with the stock cams? Adding forced induction with a large valve overlap is like trying to pressurize a open ended tube. ProCharger (
http://www.procharger.com/) estimates close to 400Hp and i don't see any requirement to change cams.
2. Does anyone have any experience with ProChargers? I have some questions and would like to ask someone not on there sales team.
Thanks!
