I want to know what's the biggest engine that I can put on it with not too much work?

I would put a sr20det in the car. there is not to much involved. the s13 model is great. you can get the motor for about 1200 from all kinds of places. make sure you get the ecu harness and ignitor with it. the ser trani and motor mounts will work for it.

Dude, this mgaff guy is always mixing up 240sx, Sentras and 200sx. Man, you cannot put a S13 rear wheel drive sr20det into a sentra. Back to the question, for you money's worth it would probably be easier for you to go with the SR20DET from a Bluebird. It will not be easy though. Being the fact the you are not currently sr20 right now. You'll need The engine from the BB, tranny from a FWD SE-R. As well as axles for the SE-R tranny, reprogrammed SE-R ECU from JWT, and a you will have to modify a SE-R wiring harness for the BB engine.

it aint easy

its not going to be easy. i did the a sr20de swap on a 96 gxe and it was a lot of work, the sr20det will be even more work. its cool to have the det but what happens if something goes wrong? you cant go to autozone for parts. u gotta get it from japan, i say drop an sr20de build it and turbo it. try to find a wrtecked one cuz you need basically the front clip, you cant even use your gauge cluster lil shit like that is gonna kill you.

As far as the BB DET, there's one complication that the Pulsar GTi-R DET wont have, the BB is OBD I, the GTi-R is OBD II. For your 95 200sx, your gonna need to get either an older SE-R ECU (OBD I) for JWT to modify for a BB, or a 95+ SE-R ECU (OBD II) for the DET.

It really is a lot of work. Here's a link about the swap.

yeah, like I said, it's a lot of work. I just did the sr20de swap from the 1.6 and that was hard enough. I mean all I did was yank the 1.6 with it's tranny and dropped the 2.0 and it's tranny back into place. Oh yeah, I got the U.S. version, not JDM. I went with the U.S. because it wasn't much to bolt into my car and I didn't have to splice any of the wiring harness for it to run. And another thing you can use the 1.6 gauge cluster as well and it reads perfectly. Even with just the DE swap the car feels like another car. I break off Civics all the time and I love it.

right on.

But to add my two cents:
This swap will run you all said and done, total cost around $5000. A hefty price and dont forget about the down time while your car is in the shop. And, if you dont get someone reputable to do it or hasnt dealt with this type of swap, they could seriously screw something up. Its a major decision. Its just not like changing your oil.....

i wish you would of done my swap on my 1.6, they changed the whole electrical wire harness and i had to use the se-r gauge cluster. your swap sounds like a piece of cake compared to what i had to go thru. and i agree once you drop the de the car feels totaly different. on a different subject i am going turbo next week, does anybody have a dr20 de turbocharged that can tell me what kind of set up is the best? even simple things like what spark plugs and wires to use, msd, what kind of fuel set up, should i get greddy e manage or send my computer to jim wolf?any info or comments will be appreciated. thx

Attic, I haven't really spent a lot of time researching turbos, but if you have any questions give my boys a call @ SR20development. There out of San Diego, Ca. But they are very reputable. I got my complete swap from them from about $1,900.00. Not bad huh, they hooked it up. Give Chris a call over there and tell him U.S Josh sent you.
