Eibach Sportlink Springs for 2002 SE-R

DId anyone install Eibach Sportlink Springs for the Sentra? Is it worth it?

I'm not entirely too sure what kind of suspension comes with the Sentra SE-R 2002 (that's the car I have) and I'm checking out mags and suspensions to give my car a more agressive look and better handling

However, I just want to make sure I don't buy something that's a bit useless. I know the difference won't be astronomical, but I'm looking for everything I can get.

Also, if someone did install some Eibach Springs, then which part # did you use?

While browsing the Eibach website, you can do a search for the car make and model. When I choose SE-R 2002, it brings me to a part number 4.5563

However, when doing other searches (on the site I provided above), I noticed that there's also some Eibach springs SPECIFIC for the SE-R 2002. The part # is also greater, so I'm wondering if they have been even more tweaked for the SE-R 2002?

Here's a link :

If anyone has information, please let me know Your help is appreciated!

my recommendations is coil overs from TEIN.

they have them made for the b15 sentra liek yours.

if you want springs i say eibach is pretty good but try to also upgrade ur stock shocks as well for it can help you not bottom out.

need n-e-more info let me know .

welcome and hope this info helps.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I am kind of new at cars. I got my Sentra last October and with my recent pay raise I thought I'd start tweaking my car a little and get to learn more about cars

(I'm not too young though, 22 so that's good).

I have a lot of friends who pretend to know what's hot and what's not in the car tweaking department, so I don't always trust them. I do have 1 that is very experienced and he's the one that was telling me about struts and coilovers and springs.

What advantage do I have with getting Coilovers? My friend told me it was the part between the hood and the struts and it basically allows to drop your car down to about 4 inches if you really want it to.

I don't plan on lowering it that much and I think coilovers and springs are pretty much the same price.

Do I risk more getting coilovers, why should I go for coilovers over springs? And if I get springs, why should I also change my struts?

I have lots of questions :P Thanks for answering them if you can!

And this forum is pretty good I've been browsing around and finding some useful information.

Thanks!

coilovers are not the same price as springs no way.

coilovers are more expensive because they have the struts and threaded bodies and such so they can handle alot of decently rough driving.

i say coilovers over springs is because it alot stiffer and handles alot better. your suspension ride will be better with coilovers than just springs because of less bounce when u hit a bump and becuase u have shortened struts on coilovers which gives you more travel and no bottoming out.
