hi pva_glue, welcome to nissan forums!
heh, yeah there's a lot of that going on over skylines. just the name tends to fill some people's heads with the image of a bnr34 gt-r doing a four wheel drift turn at ungawdly speed...i used to own an r30 four-door, nowhere near the performance car a gt-r is, but a nice sports sedan nevertheless. makes a fine touring car, and the japanese police use them for highway patrol (!)
still...a gt-r is no ordinary rabbit! where else can you find a precision piece of machinery that hauls four passengers in relative comfort, has a useable trunk, all wheel drive, four wheel steering, and routinely kicks the stuffings out of two-seater sports cars...and with a displacement of only 2.6 liters? even the italians have difficulty shoehorning all of those features into their supercars. butidigress...
