I am pretty sure my starter (93 sentra) is going out.
Just cliked when I turned key.
After spending about an hour just finding the darn thing, I commenced to taking it off. Tried to remove for about 3 hours.
did manage to get one bolt off, working underneath, never could see or put my hand on the other bolt.
Just out of curiosity, I turned key, and the starter turned, although without a lot of vigor.
Put the mess back together, but I know starter is going out.
My question

? Do you have to remove all this stuff (intake manifold?) up top, to get to starter underneath? whats the easiest way, of should I just bite the bullet and take it to a mechanic.
PS - I have replace many starters and I have never seen one that is this difficult. someone please help!
thanks in advance!
