Auto to manual swap before sr20 swap

I am considering the purchase of a 1992 240SX that is the perfect car for me except that it has an automatic trans.

If I convert this car to a manual trans and then later do the sr20det engine swap will the sr20 mate to the manual trans, or does the sr20det have a different manual trans that must be installed with it.

Did you get ant luck on the auto to manual trans????
