Service engine soon light on '98 QX-4...

Hey all, anyone got codes PO325(knock sensor) & P1444(purge flow sensor) for their QX-4? Wondering if I should attempt to repair/replace sensors myself or take to a dealer? Your thoughts...

Take it to your local mechanic, or your infiniti dealer. Infiniti dealers treat their customers like royalty, plus they give you a loaner vehicle, which is either the I35 or a G35 sedan

Not to downplay your skill/expertise Stealth, but why do you think I should take it to Infiniti vs. replace the sensors myself?(I probably wouldn't be so independent if I hadn't just spent $600 on a strut job.)

I'm not 100% familiar with the VG or VQ engine in the Pathfinder/QX4, if you have a FSM, or know your way around that vehicle's engine bay, though with me, personally I don't trust myself to do anything but minor work to my car. I'd leave it to a professional. Though if you have all the right tools, and the skills, go ahead and do it yourself. Though if it gets bunged up, you've got no one to blame but yourself

Good point. I'll continue to inquire a while more. Maybe someone will be able to navigate me to the parts.
