rb25 swap

im just wondering what all(all being everything) i will need to put the rb25det in place of my ka24($50 for anyone wanting to buy), which i recently blew up, and an estimated price.. i have the money i just need a list

Thats a big job, but it can be done. You would really want to speak to an engineer who can make up the engine mounts for you.

the engine mounts right in but i think some things have to be removed/relocated so that it will fit

i'm currently doin the RB25DET engine in the 240 .... great swap i got my RB puttin out bout 400 hp @ normal drivin psi at the crank .... but anyway i would deff sugrest gettin a r33 front clip u can use the engine mounts cooling system guage cluster fuel pump all kinds of stuff from it .... i got mine for bout $3200 wit only 5K miles on it .... your still goin to need custom engine back exhaust system .... drive shaft ... rear crose memeber ... and other parts ..... some people say u need a new hood i dont reali know i have the S15 front conversion done but it might b another thing u need .... ive also goten biger axles and hubs to handle the more power ... biger brakes if u can get ur hands on 300zx 350z brakes they will fit wit alittle work
.... havin that power plant in a 240 is a great thing stock it'l run 12's i'm not done with my swap yet but ive already worked on one of these swaps n it came out great not 1 prob .... on the look out for a 240 ... 95-98 realy what i DONT need on the car ... headlights taillights, front bumber,front fenders,hood,engine,trans,cooling cooling system,rotors calipers, drive shaft , front seats, gage cluster, rear 1/4 pannels, rear bumper, exhuast system, rims ...
... i f u got the time n money ... i would deff say do the swap
