speed cut on JDM ECU's ?

I'm thinking of putting a RB25DET into my 97 nissan 240sx. I have a very special place in my heart for I6 turbos, and swapping it into a 2900lb car is insane. I know that all japanese cars are limited to like 110 or something like that and was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of this. Also, anyone know the theoretical top speed for the RB25DET's trans ( I think its a getrag ) ?? Thanks.

hmm. i'm not sure when the speed cut kicks in (it's actually a fuel cut, hitting it is bad for the turbo) but the actual way to get rid of it is to send your ECU to someplace to get it tuned, like JWT or something like that. The GTSt transmission is rated at either 155 or 165, I can't put my finger on it right now. And no, it's not a Getrag.
