So what after 2 days you start to know somthing?? After two days you can still be an idiot!I have been doing this 13 years, my first turbo engine was a L20b with del's and a ray jay and I still dont know anything. I dont think FA has a wiating period?

It's so people will actually browse the forum first and hopefully find what they are looking for before posting something that has been posted 10,000,000 times. Seems that no matter how many stickies and announcements there are, some people still don't think they're included when we say "SEARCH FIRST"

And as was said, several people come on here, post something that is useless for this forum, as in Matrix Schemes to sell Cheap Audio, which they probably wouldnt bother with if there had been a 2 day period. ITS ONLY TWO DAYS, GET OVER IT!

Well if you read the quote that I included it said "Well dems the rules. How are we to distinguish between the real newbies and the people that know stuff?" Know if it is one but not the other thats great but that is what it said....period!

As far as "as i can see you cannot read the other sections ???..." I can read the other sections posts but what I wanted to do is post in other areas like for sale & WTB.

I found out about this site from a friend and came on cuz it is a Nissan site by a Nissan performance mag and I had Nissan performance parts to sell cheap (a Top Secret turbo manifold and OEM RT parts) that would have benifitted somone building a SR20DET or SR20 turbo conversion.

Rather than putting them on ebay were people would bid the crap out of it just to raise the price for the next guy who really wants it! For that reason the waiting period sucks, and it sucks for somone on this forum that could have used these parts! I listed them on another forum and sold the manifold, turbo, ECU and harness already. Thanks for the replies!

Like I said, dem's da rules, no exceptions. It's only two f-ing days, if you can't handle it, then you have a problem. In fact, whoever started this post should already have full forum usage, just try and wait peacefully and you'll be a full member in no time. Trust me, I've been here since the beginning, and most newbies with one or two posts have absolutely nothing constructive to ask/say. This is supposed to give you a chance to get used to the forums/discourage trolls/discourage those that just want advertising/etc. Stick around for a while and I guarentee you will see this the same way.

hi, all Nissan fans! i'm a Nissan fan too and i'm also a new member here. um...i think it's okay to wait 2 days. 48 hours isnt a long period of time. please be patien, whoever started this thread. actually i think it's not a good idea to contain "SATURN" in the name. this is a forum dedicated to Nissan, not to those GM cars. by the way, this is very nice site. thanks.

Ya know...not to play devil's advocate....BUT....I really don't think you would get TOO many bites on the Turbo anyway being a New Member. The people here have a tendancy to shy away from someone with only ONE or TWO posts. To just go into a forum without knowing anyone ain't the best idea. MOST of us, not all, will just ignore the post.

Plus when you mention "TOP SECRET" turbo manifold, you are just opening yourself up to a bunch of nasty replies from the Nissan faithful around here. I really don't think we would like to by from 1.) a new member we don't know and 2.) a "TOP SECRET" part that we have no information about.

Well The Gimp I have been a long time member of Fresh Alloy, Skylines Downunder, Silvia NZ, silvia AU to name a few. and never have I had a dumber reply then..........I will just ignore you if I dont know you, hell if you had something I wanted to buy. I would buy it from you if you could prove yourself credible!

Also any one who knows anything about Nissan silvias/180SX, Skylines or the SR20DET Knows who and what Top Secret is http://topsecretjpn.com, They are one of the larger tuner shops in Japan and they build parts for Nissan, Toyota, Honda etc.. and they built a 700ps S14 Silvia using the header that I sold. By the way it would run you between $1800.00 to $2000.00 in the US to buy new right now. I sold it for $630.00

Yeah, I'll change my name once I have me a nice 240 to toy around with. I'm still looking. I want to go from the fwd market to rwd. If you want to go faster than high 12's in the 1/4 you have to have rwd to do it consistently. I'm not a fan of old v-8's and junk. I think either a 240 with a nasty swap or a 300z with some work done will be the ticket to 11's.
