hi everyone. been lurking this site a couple of months. finally decided to introduce myself and try to participate a little more
this is my car:

1994 nissan sentra (AKA "Tsuru" in Mexico, or b13, if you wanna get technical) with the ga16de engine and 5-speed manual transmission.
currently I'm averaging about 15-15.5 kilometers per liter (roughly 35-36 miles per gallon) pretty decent for a 19 year old car
the car is completely stock, since I mainly use it for commuting to work, I really don't need to
pimp it out any.
in the two years that I've had this car, I've installed:
new rear shocks
new alternator
new hydraulic pump
new power steering rack
and I've done some minor aesthetic fixes, like polishing the yellowed-out headlights, replacing the made-in-china imitation brake lights for nicer genuine lights. recently I painted the front and rear fenders.
soon we plan on replacing the timing kit and oil pump. I've already purchased the parts for the job.

so we'll probably take care of it this weekend or the one after.
Tsurus (as they are called in mexico) are extremely popular here thanks their inexpensive maintenance. their mechanical and exterior components have remained unchanged for the most part in the 19+ years that the b13 has been in the market. so there's a pretty good chance that a part made for a 2013 b13 can also be used on a 1994 b13 and vice-versa. so as you can imagine, spare parts are plentiful
