Oil change

Hello, I'm Heli, and driving a 2003 pathfinder SE. I have started doing oil change on my cars myself to make sure I get the kind of oil I want to put in. I had a few bad experience with dishonest autoshops around my area. I am so far having trouble finding where the oil pan is or the oil pan plug for that matter under the car. I have seen 2 plugs underneath, 1 at the middle of the front tire and another at slightly in the middle part of the car. If anyone knows about this, please do help. thank you

Welcome to NF.

Being that the Pathfinder is rear wheel drive, the transmission bolts behind the engine. The first drain plug that's closest to the front of the car is most likely the engine oil drain plug. The other one that's further back from the front is the tranny drain plug.

You really need to jack the front of the car up high with a good floor jack, install jack stands for safety; now get under the car and get familiar with where everything is.
