Changed deck: problem with speakers

I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima SE with the Bose sound system, 6 disc cd changer.

i changed the deck to a dual xdvd8182 and my stock door speakers are not working now. I was wondering if there is an amp and if so, can i splice the wires to go directly from deck to stock door speaker.

Thanks for all the help

u can get a special harness to where u dont have to bypass the amp. The amp inputs are low level which are rca inputs so your harness will have rca's coming out and plug into you radios output rca's.

The harness goes into the vehicle not the radio its called a amplifier integration harness. Its the easiest way to do it instead of running wires all the way to the amp. If u want to run wires all the way to the amp then be my guest but ur gonna spend more money and alot of time trying to do it. With this harness u will have to have a radio that has front and rear or just the front rca outputs to integrate into the amp. If it only has the front use a Y adapter. I work for circuit city installing car audio. Go to a circuit city near u and they should have the harness if not they will have to order it. Its only like 30 bucks for the harness. Heres the part number for it if u go to circuit city. MET 70-7551. If u want to see what the part looks go to metraonline.com.

on the back of the radio you should have atleast one rca output or maybe more. On the harness the gray and white plugs should be your front inputs and the green and purple are your rear out puts. Just hook them into your radio front to front and rear to rear. If you only have one rca then use a y adapter. I post a diagram on it later.
