New guy from California

Hey everybody, my name is Alex and I live in the suburbs outside of los angles. My cousin used to have a 2004 specV a while ago, and I always like his car. anyhow, i was out at the dealer looking to get a "gas friendly" vehicle and lo-and-behold! there is a 2005 specV sitting right in front of me for 14k. and the car only had 15k miles on it. wow, great. all this happened day before yesterday so now I am the proud owner of a 2005 nissan specV. grey in color and black interior.

it is a great improvement over my toyota tacoma i had before, in terms of gas and room. i now know what its like to have a trunk!

besides the car, I also ride motorcycles. I own a 2006 kawasaki zx6r, matte blue. but i'm actually looking to sell it. so yeah, anybody want a bike???? looking to get 7grand for it.

I'm an enginerd by trade and I work in finance for fun! i love playing basketball and makin' good luvin with my soon to be finance. anything else just ask me!

Congrats on the new car! welcome to the forum..so wat are your plans for the car?

well thus far I'm not too sure...I'm going to drive it for a good 6 months and really get to know it. so after 6 months I'll see how well I know it then start to mod it. Of course I'll do the 3 basic mods that everybody and their mother starts with. I'm just not sure if I will start with engine mods or do suspension first. I'm kind of leaning towards upgrading my suspension before performance mods, but then again this is the first import that I own that is worth moding.

there are other things i've been looking at as well, like that Nismo fender kit (front and back) and it looks pretty sick. I'll get some pics of my car soon and post it up. had it for a few days now (almost a week) and have put on already 500 miles!

To be honest i'm a total noob to lingo and shit like that. so my car is a QR25 engine right? with a B15 chassis?
