high idle

so i have a 93 pu and it has 175k onit it starts easy and runs great gets good milage but over the last year or so it has started to idle higher and higher its at about 1300 now i found several posts saying the wax choke or motor was problem i went to dealer got part and installed changed nothing so im up for other sugestions the wax motor seemed like it was what was wrong but it didnt really work help thanks scot

im hopeful you guys might have some help on this one it has me stumped

You need the dealer consult scanner to readjust the aac valve . It probably is sticking or the air regulator is wide open. the dealer can solve this for you . Its kind of hard to adjust at home or impossible, really. Or you could have a vacuum leak on the intake or ,brake booster hose, etc. rubber it pretty hard at 175,000 miles . Good luck with that .

so the scanner i need is it available any where else cause nearest dealer 60mi away or is there a way to adjust the valve you mention? the throtle body area looks good as do the hoses but i did notice that even though the light for the ac comes on nothing happens no cooling or increase in idle? im not sure but i think someone else talkes about some kind of relay for the ac and idle
