110k i have a neighbor tthat had a maxima w 250k when he sold it origonal owner it ran great maybe still does we got onto a debate about oil we decided its the oil cos that say 3k per change for profit nedless to say my truck was considered totaled due to a wreck (a) pillar damage well i fixed it good enough for work truck and decided to see how long it would go wo oil change i have added about two quarts in the last 100k but its been a couple years since it even needed that i get 18.5 mpgs every time i check it i haul a bunch of equipment and stop and go drive 5 days a week my emergency brake froze up but this forum helped with the cure also my idle has been getting higher over the years and i hope wax kit will fix it love this site love nissan trucks also have a 4runner 85 use for jamboree and hard core trail rig another excellant rig i will never buy anything but nissan or toyota so i guess its open for debate

LOL! Well, I doubt you'll get much debate with regards to how good Nissan & Toyota vehicles are! I really want another Pathfinder, but a Toyota 4Runner would be great also.

Interesting on the oil... so your truck is an ultimate test-vehicle! I am also from the camp that agrees that 3k is way more often than necessary. I go 5k, and even that is more often than suggested in the manual. We can thank the quickie-lube type places for perpetuating the belief that 3k is a 'must' for oil changes. I've heard of people with newer GM SUV's that have an oil change indicator, and have put well over 12k on their vehicles before the light comes on.

Sorry I can't help you on the idle issue, but I bet someone will have some good suggestions here.
