my 87 z is acting up, had a tensoner go bad in the timing belt, fortunatly no major damage, new belt,tensoner,waterpump,thermostat, a couple of belts and 900 later everything going well. Problem started week later running fine on interstate, fuel light comes on and she starts to bog down, i bring her in to the next exit, fill it up and restart... black smoke rough idle engine running smooth but not wanting to respond to gas peddle.put,put ,put vroom drove back 100+miles running , but still accel problems, replace all plugs,throttle position sensor and fuel filter no help.
catalyic convertor, air flow sensor ???? any help???
