Man I'm Glad I found this place!!!

Hey everyone. My name is Mike and I own a 2000 Altima. Nothing special done to it (it's the family ride), but I must say that it's probably the best car I have ever owned. I'm glad I found this site because unfortunately, there seems to be very little information available for the 99 and up Altima's available. I have tried to buy books etc. and have had no luck. I have been trying to avoid the dealer. Anyways, I have already gotten some great advice from the site with a problem I have been having and I look forward to getting more involved. Who knows, maybe the old lady will want to turn her family ride into a bit of a tuner.

Anyone here give advice on mustangs? Or maybe I have just commited sacrilege. My toy that I work on is a 95 Mustang GT convertible. Anyways, Thanks again for being here.

- Mike

Mike, welcome to the Forums! I think you will find a lot more information on your Altima here. Maybe even a few aftermarket parts. As far as the Mustang goes we'll just act like we didn't see that. Just kidding allot of people here have everything from Corsicas to Camrys. Well again welcome to the forums and enjoy!

There's nothing wrong at all with a Mustang GT. Now if it was a V6 there might be an issue.

I didn't know that Ford made a mustang with a v-6. I think I have seen something that looks like a mustang that has a v-6, but I dont think Ford would commit such a crime. (haha)

oh, yea. the ford mustang coupes are all v-6's...if it doesnt have a "saleen", "gt", "roushe", or "cobra" thrown onto the trim, its a v-6. i used to love mustangs, but now i have really been looking at imports. you just cant beat the reliablility
