Locating the IAT Sensor on 91 Nissan Micra GS
Hi,
I recently purchased some resistor type 'car chips' off Ebay. These increase the performance of the car to anything from 5-20bhp. I know that these chips work to some extent since I have already fitted one to my 98 Vectra and have noticed a performance increase on that one, especially when accelerating.
In order to fit these 'chips', you have to locate the IAT (Inlet Air Temperature) sensor in your car; the rest is very simple. However, I have been unable to find the IAT sensor on my 1991 Nissan Micra 1.0l GS. I have consulted the vehicle handbook, Haynes manuals, and internet forums.
I would therefore appreciate any assistance in finding this sensor so that I can install the chips. If anybody has any pictures of the car's engine compartment to pinpoint the place to look, this would also be helpfull.
Many thanks in advance for all assistance received.
Regards,
Chris
