anybody need custom work in new york?

i just thought i'd ask if anyone wants some cheap work done in the upstate new york area. I live in red hook, a small town in northern dutchess county. i can do some body work, but my specialty is piping. I can shave anything, make some extreme fender flares, full kits (functional i might add), almost anything. if you need a special job done cheap i'll do it. My favorites are some nice 3 inch dump-pipes spilling into a full custom exhaust. i won't charge labor, cuz i'm not a professional (but i'm still good), and i love doing it. if anybody wants more info, just contact me.

hey man, I'm right across the river in Middletown, how much would you want for a 2 1/4 exhaust for a 95 sentra GXE... also how good are you at welding, hopefully in a month or so I'll be able to afford a turbo kit that I'll need some welding done with. Thanks -James

the price can depend on what you want the pipes to be made out of. if your gonna go turbo, your definately gonna need stainless steel, as it is the only commonly available material that can withstand the heat. if your not going turbo and your not an all motor freak you could go with some mild steel, which isn't that expensive. if anybody else wants some stuff done, lemme know.

sorry about the delay in the reply, i'm damn busy.

now that i know that you guys are really out there, i'll get back to you with specific prices and other info ASAP.

Dont get anything done by this kid for ur own good, he's a sophmore in high school with no hands on skill at all, he's just skimmed through books and browsed the internet on "the basics" of bodywork. most likely he wouldnt be doing the work himself at all. Kevin, dont try to make yourself out to be something you arent, its pathetic. Stick to washing dishes at the golf course. If in fact you do work for B.O.B for a year or so and get some hands on skill then you can start your own side projects if ur interested. But not now, u could ruin peoples stuff, then what...

I live in the same town as he does, Ive posted before i dont know why it say that was my first post but whatever. He's never done any work for anybody around here becuase no one would trust a kid with no hands on skill. Im just warning anybody who was thinking of getting anything done by him.

You're going to need a little more credibilty than 2 posts and no personal information about yourself. It's easy to anonymously discredit someone, so show us you're legit and that you don't just have a vendetta against this person.

ok, i dont have a vendetta against this kid we both live in red hook and at one point i was gonna sell him my car. i've had more than 2 posts but idk where they went, i dont care. Im just putting a fair warning out there that if u were planning on getting work done by this 16 kid, think twice, thats it. If you dont wanna follow it, good luck and god speed. I guess ur gonna judge my credibility on my posts but look what the kid your defending said

"yeah, i love to do my own work. i guess it's definately the satisfaction when you can tell people that you swapped in the motor, blueprint, balance the bottom end, teardrop the crankshaft, put in all the bolt ons, the new turbo, even the interior work.

that, and having a one of a kind car that would maim any honda within 100 miles of here.

that's what does it for me.

well that, and the attention the hks BOV gets in the mall parking lot, especially the attention from those hot freshman." this is coming from a kid that doesnt even own a car, the most motor work he's done is playing around with his neighbors scooter...sorry kevin had to let them know :dumbass:

look murray-how many times do i have to tell you? i already took back my statements, i admit what i said wasn't true, and i've apologized to everyone i've talked to, including several moderators.

and the thing that really cracks me up is the fact that the person who is attacking me is the same kid who asks me do to exhaust and intercooler piping for him. you remember that, don't you murray? i sure as hell do.

And no matter what you say, we both know that i know exactly what i'm doing. I know more on the subject of metallurgy than most people will ever know, including you.

and i also think it's funny that you keep quoting some previous posts of mine-oh wait, you only quote one post! i forgot, that's the only one you keep mentioning. that's also pretty amusing, that your entire case is one post i made over a month ago.

and if i'm the first person to ever get creative on the internet, you can shoot me in the face. in fact, i'll load the gun for you.

the fact is murray, that you are just a moody piece of shit, who can't stay out of other people's business. you also seem to forget the fact that it was my ass that kept you on the golf team. so remember that shit, especially when you try to make another post about how immature i am.

oh and for the record, that's the fastest scooter on this side of the hudson.

I think that's enough, we don't want this forum turning into a pissing match.
