Question front drive shaft question

guys need info pls....


Left Wheel -Left Drive Shaft - Transmission - Right Drive Shaft - Right Wheel

above is a representation of the front axle.... just want to ask is it normal
for the right drive shaft to move or have a play ( direction is left-right-left ),
just noticed it yesterday when i was checking the brakes and suspension components of my car....

need your inputs....

what do you mean by play? like, if the wheel is off the ground, can you rock it side to side (by side to side, i mean as if the wheel was able to turn right or left at all)
if the axle does it, damn, im not sure, but definately get it looked at. if the wheel moves as well, theres a good chance one of your control arms, or possibly a tie rod is bent or worn.

if the wheel able to move in and out ...possibly a blown hub bearing as well...
