Greetings! I'm a newbee to this site. Does anybody here know of a good, reliable, honest mechanic in or very near Madison Wisconsin? I live nearly two hours from there and my son has our ole' reliable 94 Quest in Madison. He was visiting here over the weekend and told me it was making weird noises when turning right... obviously the cv joint is going out. I told him to take it easy especially on right turns
and we'd nope for the best and try to get it in to my local guy asap. On his way home he tells me it got WAY worse and now I'm not sure it will make it back. So I'm looking for somebody in the Madison or Janesville Wisconsin area. There are a few dealers who could do the job I'm sure... but I would rather find a small potatoes guy who really knows what he's doing ... or if it's a dealer, somebody recommended. Any ideas? Thanks! I'll be lurking here from time to time. Any help is appreciated.
